Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the hood (1).
- Remove the hood assist rod retainers (3) using a flat-bladed tool.
- Remove the hood assist rod (2).
Installation Procedure
- Install the hood assist rod (2).
- Push the hood assist rid retainers (3) in order to seat the retainers.
