Door Hinge Replacement Front

Important: Adjust the door lock striker after you have completed adjusting the door hinge. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Striker Replacement .

1. Support the door.
2. Mark the hinge location.
3. Remove the bolt (3) and the nut (2) which secure the door hinge to the hinge pillar (1).
4. Remove the bolts (4) which secure the door hinge to the door.
5. Remove the door hinge.

1. Install the door hinge.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the door hinge bolts (4) to the door.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

3. Install the door hinge bolt (3) and nut (2) to the hinge pillar (1).

Tighten

•	Tighten the bolt to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

•	Tighten the nut to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

Door Hinge Replacement Rear

Important: Adjust the door lock striker after you have completed adjusting the door hinge. Refer to Rear Side Door Lock Striker Replacement .

1. Support the door.
2. Mark the hinge location.
3. Remove the bolt (1) and the nut (2) which secure the door hinge to the hinge pillar.



4. Remove the bolts (1) which secure the door hinge to the door.
5. Remove the door hinge.

1. Install the door hinge.
