Door Water Deflector Replacement Front
Removal Procedure
A waterproof, clear, plastic deflector seals the door inner panel and
prevents entry of water. Secure the inner panel to the deflector with waterproof
adhesive. This allows the deflector to be peeled back in order to service
the door components.
Important: Reseal the deflector with waterproof tape if the deflector becomes loose
or damaged.
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the water deflector.
Installation Procedure
- Install the water deflector.
- Insert the tabs at the bottom of the water deflector into the
slots at the bottom of the door inner panel. Place the fastener holes in the
deflector in their original position.
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to

- Install the water deflector (1).
