Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the glass from the door rear view mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement .
  2. Remove the power pack screws from the door rear view mirror.
  3. Remove the power pack from the door rear view mirror.
  4. Remove the wire harness from the door rear view mirror.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wire harness to the door rear view mirror.
  2. Install the power pack to the door the rear view mirror.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the power pack screws to the door the rear view mirror.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to fully driven, seated, not stripped

  6. Install the glass to the door rear view mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement .
