For 1990-2009 cars only
Removal Procedure
- Remove the sunroof in the vent position, and the sunshade (2) in the open position.
- Using a flat blade tool, disengage the left front sunshade guide (3) by pushing the guide toward the middle of the car in order to overcome the spring pressure.
- Slide the sunshade (2) to the closed position. Disengage the left rear sunshade guide (3) in the same manner.
- Pull the sunshade (2) towards the left side of the vehicle in order to disengage the right side guides (3). Then pull the sunshade out between the glass panel and the roof.
- Remove the sunshade handle (4) from the sunshade (2) by compressing the back side of the handle (4) together and sliding the handle out.
Installation Procedure
- Install the sunshade handle (4) into the sunshade (2) pressing into place until the tabs seat behind the sunshade.
- Install the sunshade (2) into the vehicle between the roof and the glass panel.
- With the sunshade closed, position the right side sunshade guides (3) to the guide rail.
- Using a flat blade tool, engage the left rear sunshade guide (3) to the guide rail.
- Slide the sunshade to the open position. Engage the left front sunshade guide (3) to the guide rail.
