Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 1998 🢒 Grand Am 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Roof 🢒 Power Sunroof Express Module Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Fully close the sunroof.
  2. Remove the windshield side upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.

    3. Object Number: 280687 Size: MH
  3. Remove the sunshade (2). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement .
  4. Remove the control switch. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement .
  5. Remove the rail front assist handle. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Remove the sunroof opening trim lace. Refer to Sunroof Opening Trim Finish Lace Replacement .
  7. Lower the headlining trim finish panel.
  8. Remove the express module wire harness connectors.
  9. Remove the express module (8) by sliding towards the middle of the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 280687 Size: MH
  1. Install the express module (8) by sliding towards the left side of the vehicle.
  2. Install the express module wire harness connectors.
  3. Install the sunroof opening trim lace. Refer to Sunroof Opening Trim Finish Lace Replacement .
  4. Install the rail front assist handle. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Install the sunroof control switch. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement .
  6. Install the sunshade (2). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement .
  7. Install the windshield side upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
