For 1990-2009 cars only
- Loosen the rear seatback lock striker bolts (1).
- Close the split back panel until the lock striker fully engages the folding rear seatback lock (2).
- Align the holes by inserting a scratch awl, a center punch, or other suitable tool (3) through the lower hole in the lock striker (2) and into the lower hole of the seatback (4).
- Tighten the rear seatback lock striker bolts (1).
- Remove the alignment tool (3).
