Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 61928 Size: SH
  1. Relieve the system fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
  2. Drain the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining .
  3. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement Removal Procedure.
  4. Disconnect the fuel tank vapor pressure sensor electrical connector.
  5. Remove the fuel tank vapor pressure sensor from modular fuel sender.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 61928 Size: SH
  1. Reinstall the new fuel tank vapor pressure sensor to modular fuel sender.
  2. Connect the fuel tank vapor pressure sensor electrical connector.
  3. Reinstall the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement Removal Procedure.
  4. Refill the tank and reinstall the fuel fill cap.
  5. Reinstall the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Replacement in Engine Electrical.
