Notice: Vacuum check valve and grommet can be inspected and/or serviced without removing the booster from the vehicle.

1. Disconnect the vacuum hose (1) from the vacuum booster check valve.



2. Remove the vacuum booster check valve (1) and grommet.
3. Inspect the grommet for the following conditions.

Replace the grommet if any of the conditions are found:

•

Cuts

•

Nicks

•	Excessive wear

4. Clean the above parts in clean denatured alcohol.
5. Dry with unlubricated compressed air.

Important: Lubricate the inside and outside diameters of the grommet and the front housing seal with a thin layer of silicone grease.

1. Install the vacuum booster check valve (1) and grommet.



2. Connect the vacuum hose (1) to the vacuum booster check valve.
