Removal Procedure
- Raise the vehicle. Refer
to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
- Remove the left splash shield. Refer to
Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement
.
- Remove the air intake duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement
.
- Remove the connector from the washer pump.
- Remove the hose from the washer pump.
- Remove the connector from the solvent level sensor.
- Remove the EBCM. Refer to
Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement
.
- Remove 3 screws and the washer solvent container from the
vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the washer solvent container onto the vehicle with 3 screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
- Install the EBCM. Refer to
Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement
.
- Connect the connector to the solvent level sensor.
- Connect the hose to the washer pump.
- Connect the connector to the washer pump.
- Install the air intake duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement
.
- Install the left splash shield. Refer to
Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement
.
- Lower the vehicle.
