The customer may comment about a windrush from the windshield.
Inspect the " A" pillar for gaps to the windshield. Refer to the illustration.
If the "A pillar molding gaps to the windshield, adjust the molding to fit.
The customer may comment about a windrush from the windshield.
Inspect the upper windshield lace for gaps to the windshield. Refer to the illustration.
If the windshield lace gaps to the windshield or the body, remove the windshield and replace the lace.
The customer may comment about a windrush around the mirror.
A car wash or a person may have moved the mirror head out of position. Refer to the illustration.
The mirror may not have been installed properly to the door surface causing a gap at the belt line. Refer to the illustration.
Reposition the mirror head.
Remove the mirror and check the door sheet metal or reposition to the door correctly.
The customer may comment about windnoise around the "B" pillar edge of the door (Sedan).
Inspect the outer belt seal strip. It should be flush to the door sheet metal. There should not be any deformation or gaps to the sheet metal. Refer to the illustration.
If the molding is gapped or deformed, it should be replaced.
The customer may comment about windnoise from the rear door "B" pillar area.
Inspect the leading edge of the door outer belt seal strip. If outboard of the front door outer belt seal strip, determine if the rear door seal strip is deformed or has been pulled outboard (i.e. automatic car wash brush). Refer to the illustration.
If the seal strip is deformed or outboard of the front door seal strip, it should be replaced.
The customer may comment about a windnoise from the rear door stationary glass.
The stationary glass may not be seated to the door frame. In some cases, you may see a gap between the door and the reveal molding. Refer to the illustration.
With the door open, lower the window. Standing at the rear of the door, grasp on to the top of the division post . Pull rearward on the division post and listen for any sound which will indicate that the quarter glass and weatherstrip have seated.
