The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
A technician may call stating that the Cruise indicator on the instrument panel does not illuminate when the cruise control is set.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The cruise indicator was deleted at the start of 2003 production. However, the deletion did not take effect until September, 2002.
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
