Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1337190 Size: SH
  2. Remove 2 screws from temperature valve actuator (2).
  3. Remove temperature valve actuator (2) from the HVAC module.

    4. Object Number: 1337197 Size: SH
  4. Remove the screws from the heater core cover (1).
  5. Remove the heater core cover (1) from the HVAC module.

    6. Object Number: 1337201 Size: SH
  6. Remove the heater core clamp screw (1).
  7. Remove the heater core (2) from the HVAC module.

    8. Object Number: 1337208 Size: SH
  8. Remove the front heater core case cover screw (1).
  9. Remove the front heater core case cover from the HVAC module.

    10. Object Number: 1337211 Size: SH
  10. Remove the air temperature door from the HVAC module.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1337211 Size: SH
  1. Install the air temperature door to the HVAC module.

    2. Object Number: 1337208 Size: SH
  2. Install the front heater core case cover in HVAC module.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the front heater core case cover screw (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 1 N·m (9 lb in).

  4. Install the heater core (2) in the HVAC module.
  5. Install the heater core clamp screw (1).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 1 N·m (9 lb in).


    Object Number: 1337197 Size: SH
  6. Install the heater core cover (1).
  7. Install the heater core cover screws.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1 N·m (9 lb in).


    Object Number: 1337190 Size: SH
  8. Install the temperature valve actuator (2).
  9. Install the 2 temperature valve actuator screws (1).

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  10. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement
