Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Replacement - Right Side Oldsmobile

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
2. Reach through the compartment opening to release the 2 lower retaining clips (1) by pushing upwards.
3. Remove the I/P outer air outlet.

1. Align the outlet to the opening in the I/P.
2. Seat the lower clips (1) first and press the outlet into place.
3. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Replacement - Right Side Pontiac

1. With a suitable tool release the retaining tabs through the vanes of the HVAC air outlet deflector.



2. Pull the air deflector outlet out of the upper trim pad.

1. Align the air deflector outlet to the opening in the upper trim pad.



2. Push the air deflector outlet into the upper trim pad until retaining tabs are engaged.
