THM 2004R CONVERT. CLUTCH STOP VALVE- NEW DESIGN CLUTCH

SOME FIELD REPORTS HAVE INDICATED IT IS POSSIBLE FOR THE PAST DESIGN CONVERTER CLUTCH STOP VALVE TO MOVE OFF LOCATION. IF THE CONVERTER CLUTCH STOP VALVE BECOMES MISLOCATED, THE CONVERTER CLUTCH WILL EITHER REMAIN APPLIED AT ALL TIMES OR FAIL TO APPLY. TO CORRECT EITHER CONDITION, INSTALL THE NEW DESIGN CONVERTER CLUTCH STOP VALVE. SEE FIGURE 1. THE NEW DESIGN CONVERTER CLUTCH STOP VALVE CAN BE ORDERED USING PART NUMBER 8634705, AND SHOULD BE USED AS A REPLACEMENT PART FOR ALL THM 200-4R TRANSMISSIONS. ANY THM 200-4R TRANSMISSION BUILT AFTER JANUARY 8, 1981, WILL CONTAIN THE NEW DESIGN CONVERTER CLUTCH STOP VALVE.
