RATTLE CONDITION BA6 OPTION BOX ASSEMBLY STORAGE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS SUPREME

Some owners of 1989 Cutlass Supreme vehicles with BA6 option (Box Assembly Stowage, rear seat to back window foundation) may comment on a rattle condition from the stowage box lid.

To eliminate the rattle condition, add foam tape to areas a s indicated on illustration. Use 3M 06375 black vinyl foam tape or equivalent. Cut tape 1 inch X 3/8 inch and apply on both sides of the striker as illustrated.
