NEW LONGER SEAT BELT BUCKLE P/N RELEASED FOR SERVICE

SUBJECT: NEW LONGER SEAT BELT (BUCKLE SIDE) (INSTALL NEW LONGER BUCKLE SIDE BELT P/N)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1990 PONTIAC W-STE CARS

THIS BULLETIN PERTAINS TO VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO VIN #1G2WT54T9LF294992.

To increase customer satisfaction a new slightly longer seat belt (buckle side) has been released for service, for use on Pontiac Grand Prix STE models equipped with AQ9 front seats.

CAUSE:

Buckle side of belt may not be of optimum length to satisfy some owners.

CORRECTION:

To correct this condition, should an owner request a longer belt, install new longer buckle side belt.
