The purpose of this bulletin is to advise that Performance Parts engine replacements
are now included in the Powertrain Quality Center process. All Performance Parts engines
requiring replacement under warranty or policy must be reviewed with the PQC. The
PQC will review the diagnosis, offer additional direction, and when needed, authorize
replacement of the assembly. The PQC will also pre-authorize the warranty claim. Refer
to Corporate Bulletin Number 02-07-30-029B for further information and instruction
before contacting the PQC.
