CRACKED AND/OR DAMAGED A/C CONTROL BUTTONS (RPL. BUTTONS)

SUBJECT: CRACKED AND/OR DAMAGED AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL BUTTONS (REPLACE BUTTONS)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989-93 PONTIAC "W" MODELS

APPLICATION:

----------- 1989-93 Pontiac W-Cars

CONDITION:

--------- The air conditioning control buttons may crack or deteriorate.

CAUSE:

----- Extreme temperatures may cause the buttons to crack or deteriorate over time.

CORRECTION:

---------- A service kit, P/N 16191802, has been released containing replacement buttons. This condition may now be addressed by replacing the buttons instead of replacing the complete control assembly.

A detailed instruction sheet is provided with the service kit for button replacement.

For vehicles repaired under warranty use:

Labour Time: 0.6 Hours
