Forward Servo Assembly

Damaged piston or seal

1/2 Roller Clutch

Damaged

Drive Axles

Disengaged

Oil Pump Assembly

Damaged: refer to Causes of Low Pressure

#3 Checkball

Missing

Torque Converter

Stator roller clutch (vehicle moves, but vehicle is very sluggish)

Drive Link Assembly

    • Damaged or broken drive link chain
    • Damaged sprockets

Input Clutch Assembly

    • Burned or missing clutch plates
    • Damaged piston or seals
    • Leaking housing checkball assembly
    • Damaged input shaft seals
    • Blocked feed passages on the input shaft

Input Sprag, Input Sun Gear Assembly

    • Improper assembly
    • Damaged sprag: roll over

Input Carrier, Reaction Carrier Assembly

    • Damaged pinions
    • Damaged internal gear
    • Damaged sun gear

Output Shaft

    • Damaged shaft
    • Misassembled with axles

Forward Band Assembly

    • Burned
    • Band apply pin is mislocated with the band (Assembly will still move in Manual Lo gear and in Manual Second gear)

Parking Pawl

Broken spring, the pawl remains engaged

Final Drive Assembly, or Final Drive Sun Gear Shaft

Damaged side gear, gears, pinion, or internal gear
