Removal Procedure
Object Number: 12278 Size: SH
  1. Remove the Manifold vacuum lines to throttle body and fuel pressure regulator.
  2. Remove the IAC, TP sensor and MAF sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the two TP sensor attaching screws.
  4. Remove the TP sensor (3).

Installation Procedure
Object Number: 12278 Size: SH
  1. Install the TP sensor on the throttle body assembly.
  2. Install the two TP sensor attaching screws, using a thread-locking compound on the screws. Loctite 262® , GM Part No. 1052624, or equivalent should be used.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the TP sensor attaching screws to 2.0 N·m (18 in lb).

  3. Install the IAC, TP sensor and MAF sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install the manifold vacuum lines to throttle body and fuel pressure regulator.
