  1. Turn the ignition switch on.
  2. Set cruise control switch to ON.

The cruise control switch indicator lamp turns on.

  1. Drive vehicle above 40 km/h (25 mph).
  2. Press Set/Coast (S/C) switch once and release.
  3. Remove foot from accelerator pedal.
    • The CRUISE indicator lamp in the instrument cluster turns on.
    • The vehicle maintains the set speed.

Cruise Control Inoperative

  1. Press and hold Resume/Accelerate (R/A) switch until vehicle speed increases by 6-8 km/h (4-5 mph).
  2. Release Release/Accelerate (R/A) switch.

The vehicle accelerates and maintains a new higher set speed.

Cruise Control Inoperative

Press the brake pedal, then release.

    • The cruise control disengages.
    • The memory is unchanged.

Cruise Control Inoperative

Press the Resume/Accelerate (R/A) switch once and release the switch.

    • The CRUISE indicator lamp in the instrument cluster turns on.
    • Vehicle accelerates to and maintains previous set speed.
    • Memory unchanged.

Cruise Control Inoperative

Press the Resume/Accelerate (R/A) switch once (tap up) and release (less than 3/4 of a second) the switch.

The vehicle speed increases by 1.6 km/h (1 mph) and maintains the new set speed.
