Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 230411 Size: SH
  1. Turn the Ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Remove BPMV and EBTCM as an assembly from the BPMV bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement
  3. Remove the three BPMV bracket nuts (1) (2) and (3) attaching the BPMV bracket (4) to the wheel housing.
  4. Remove the BPMV bracket (4) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 230411 Size: SH
  1. Install the BPMV bracket (4) to the wheel house.
  2. Install the three BPMV bracket nuts (1) (2) and (3) to the studs on the BPMV bracket (4).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the three BPMV bracket nuts to 10 N·m (7 lb. ft.).

  3. Install the BPMV and EBTCM as an assembly to the BPMV bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement
  4. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  5. Perform the Diagnostic System Check
