The front wheels are out of alignment.

1. Inspect the front wheel alignment.
2. Perform a front wheel alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement in Wheel Alignment.

The rear wheels are out of alignment.

1. Inspect the rear wheel alignment.
2. Perform a rear wheel alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement in Wheel Alignment.

The rack bearing preload is misadjusted.

Tighten the rack preload to specification.

Refer to Rack Bearing Preload Adjustment - Off Vehicle (Magnasteer) or Rack Bearing Preload Adjustment - Off Vehicle (Quiet Valve).

The coil spring is broken or sagging.

Replace the broken or sagging springs. Refer to Strut Assembly Replacement in Front Suspension.

The stabilizer shaft is loose.

1. Inspect the following components:

•	The mounting bolts

•	The mounting links

2. Tighten the mounting bolts to specifications. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications in Front Suspension.
3. Tighten the mounting links to specifications. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications in Front Suspension.

or Stabilizer Shaft Replacement in Front Suspension.

The struts are worn.

Replace the struts as needed. Refer to Strut Assembly Replacement in Front Suspension.

The tires are the wrong size

The tires are mismatched in size or type.

1. Inspect the tires. Refer to Tire and Wheel Specifications in Tires and Wheels.
2. Replace the tires as needed. Refer to Wheel Removal in Tires and Wheels.
