Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 394931 Size: SH
  1. Disable the S.I.R. system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in S.I.R.
  2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in S.I.R.
  3. Disconnect the steering wheel controls using a small flat-blade tool.
  4. Pry out the steering wheel controls at the lower edge of the switches.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the steering wheel controls switch.
  6. Remove the steering wheel controls switch from the steering wheel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 394931 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the steering wheel controls switch.
  2. Connect the steering wheel controls switch to the steering wheel.
  3. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in S.I.R.
  4. Enable the S.I.R. system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in S.I.R.
