Erase Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) in the Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module (EBTCM) in one of the following two ways:

1. Select DTCs.
2. The DTCs will view completely.
3. The message CLEAR DTCs will prompt.
4. Answer YES.
5. The message HISTORY DATA WILL BE LOST will prompt.
6. Answer YES.
7. The DTCs will clear.

1. Turn the ignition to RUN in order to start the drive cycle.

The existing DTCs will clear from the EBTCM memory if no diagnostic trouble codes occur for 100 drive cycles.

2. Verify that the following conditions exist at the end of the clearing procedure:

•	The system operates correctly.

•	The DTC is absent.

All of the DTCs must be displayed before the EBTCM will permit DTC clearing.
