Removal Procedure
- Remove the driver information center (DIC). Refer to Driver Information Center Module Replacement .
- Remove all the DIC bulbs. Refer to Driver Information Center (DIC) Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
- Remove the circuit board screw.
- Remove the circuit board from the housing.
- Disengage the bezel retainers from the housing.
- Remove the bezel from the housing.
- Remove the applique from the housing.
- Remove the traction control switch push-button.
- Remove the housing.
Installation Procedure
- Install the traction control switch push-button to the housing.
- Install the applique to the housing.
- Align the bezel to the housing.
- Engage the bezel retainers to the housing.
- Install the circuit board to the housing.
- Install the circuit board screw.
- Install DIC bulbs. Refer to Driver Information Center (DIC) Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
- Install the DIC. Refer to Driver Information Center Module Replacement .
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the circuit board screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
