For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the cruise control cable from the throttle lever linkage and from the cruise control module. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement or Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
- Ensure the cruise control cable moves in and out of the cruise control cable casing freely and smoothly.
- Replace any sticking or binding cables. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement or Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
- Replace any cable adjuster lock that does not hold under normal operating conditions. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement or Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
