1. Disconnect the mirror connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. Set the gear selector lever to the reverse position.
4. Use a test light in order to probe between the inside rearview mirror connector terminal 3 and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

1. Disconnect the park neutral position (PNP) switch connector C1.
2. Use a test light in order to backprobe between the (PNP) switch connector C1 terminal B and ground.

Replace the inside rearview mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .
