Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement Coupe

Removal Procedure

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the quarter lower trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 319855  Size: SH
  5. Remove the coat hook from the quarter upper trim by pulling out the retainer using a small, flat-bladed tool.
  6. Remove the rear courtesy lamp. Refer to Instrument Panel Courtesy Lamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.

  7. Object Number: 319851  Size: SH
  8. Remove the quarter upper trim by disengaging the push-in retainers using J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 319851  Size: SH
  1. Install the quarter upper trim by engaging the push-in retainers.

  2. Object Number: 319855  Size: SH
  3. Align the coat hook to the hole in the quarter upper trim. Press in the retainer.
  4. Install the quarter lower trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  6. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  7. Install the rear courtesy lamp. Refer to Instrument Panel Courtesy Lamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.

  3. Object Number: 319861  Size: SH
  4. Remove the quarter upper trim by disengaging the push-in retainers using J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 319861  Size: SH
  1. Install the quarter upper trim by engaging the push-in retainers.
  2. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  3. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
