Tools Required

1. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Roof.
2. Remove the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Roof.
3. Remove the sunshade retainers. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement in Roof.
4. Remove the power sunroof switch, if equipped. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement in Roof.
5. Remove the sunroof trim lace, if equipped. Refer to Sunroof Seal/Molding Replacement in Roof.
6. Remove the dome light, if equipped.
7. Remove the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement in Roof.
8. Remove the assist handles. Assist Strap Replacement
9. Remove the rail lamp. Refer to Roof Side Rail Lamp Replacement in Roof.
10. Remove the windshield side upper garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Roof.
11. Remove the upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
12. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
13. Pull down on the door opening weatherstrip seal on both the front and the rear doors.
14. Disconnect the electrical connectors.



15. Remove the 2 rear retainers (2) using J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover.
16. Rotate the right front seatback to a horizontal position.
17. Remove the headliner from the vehicle through the right front door.

Important: Do not bend the headlining too much when loading the headlining.

1. Install the headliner to the vehicle through the right front door.
2. Align the sunshade holes (1) in the headlining with the respective hole in the body structure.
3. Connect the electrical conectors.
4. Install the 2 rear retainers (2).
5. Install the door opening weatherstrip seal in order to hold the headliner in place on both the front and the rear doors.
6. Install the center pillar upper trim panels. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
7. Install the upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
8. Install the windshield side upper garnish molding . Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Roof.
9. Install the rail lamps. Refer to Roof Side Rail Lamp Replacement in Roof.
10. Install the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement in Roof.
11. Install the assist handles. Assist Strap Replacement
12. Install the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Roof.
13. Install the sunroof trim lace. Refer to Sunroof Seal/Molding Replacement in Roof.
14. Install the sunshade retainers. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement in Roof.
15. Install the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Roof.
16. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Roof.
