Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 394931 Size: SH
  1. Disable the S.I.R. system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in S.I.R.
  2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in S.I.R.
  3. Disconnect the steering wheel control switches using a small flat-blade tool.
  4. Pry out the steering wheel control switch at the lower edge of the steering wheel control switches.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the steering wheel control switch.
  6. Remove the steering wheel control switch from the steering wheel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 394931 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the steering wheel control switch.
  2. Connect the steering wheel controls switch to the steering wheel.
  3. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in S.I.R.
  4. Enable the S.I.R. system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in S.I.R.
  5. Verify proper operation of the steering wheel control switches.
