Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 362118  Size: SH
  1. Loosen the rear of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the antenna amplifier lead from the antenna grid.

  3. Object Number: 182420  Size: MH
  4. Disconnect the antenna amplifier extension cable from the amplifier.

  5. Object Number: 182420  Size: MH
  6. Disconnect the antenna amplifier power and ground electrical connector.

  7. Object Number: 362096  Size: SH
  8. Remove the antenna amplifier bolt/screw.
  9. Remove the antenna amplifier.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 362096  Size: SH
  1. Install the antenna amplifier.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the antenna amplifier bolt/screw.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna amplifier bolt/screw to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Connect the antenna amplifier power and ground electrical connector.
  6. Connect the antenna amplifier lead to antenna grid.

  7. Object Number: 362118  Size: SH
  8. Connect the antenna amplifier extension cable to the antenna amplifier.
  9. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
