Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 217748 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector and the hoses from the evaporative emissions (EVAP) canister purge valve.
  2. Bend the tab on the solenoid mounting bracket in order to remove the EVAP canister purge valve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 217748 Size: SH
  1. Bend the tab on the solenoid mounting bracket in order to install the EVAP canister purge valve.
  2. Install the EVAP canister purge valve.
  3. Connect the hoses and the electrical connector to the EVAP canister purge valve.
