Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 310867 Size: MH
  1. Remove the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  2. Remove the manual lumbar handle and the trim ring, if equipped.
  3. Position the seat full forward and the seat back full up.
  4. Remove the seal belt nut to the seat stud. For the left, refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Left Front and for the right, refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front in Seat Belts.
  5. Unfasten the J-hook retainers at the bottom of the seat.
  6. Pull out the seat back cover end flaps.
  7. Position the seat back full down.
  8. Reach inside of the least back cover and unfasten the hook and loop retainers securing the front seat back cover to the pad.
  9. Position the seat back to the vertical position.
  10. If heated seats, pull up the trim cover one third.
    11. • Disconnect the seat heater wire connector, light green, from under the seat cushion.
    • Pull the wire through the back foam pad.
  11. Pull up the trim cover two thirds.
  12. Remove the seat back cardboard panel.
  13. Remove the front seat head restraint retainer. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .

  14. Remove the front seat back cover from the seat back by pulling the seat back cover up and over the pad.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the seat back cardboard panel.

    2. Object Number: 310867 Size: MH
  2. Position the seat back cover to the pad.
  3. If heated seats, pull down the trim cover two thirds.
    4. • Pull the wire through the back foam pad.
    • Connect the seat heater wire connector.
  4. Pull the seat back cover down, over the pad.

    5. Object Number: 520405 Size: SH
  5. Use firm hand pressure to fasten the hook and loop retainers, securing the cover to the pad.
  6. Install the front seat head restraint retainer. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 519889 Size: SH
  7. Install the J-hook retainers at the bottom of the seat back cover.
  8. Install the seat back cover end flaps.
  9. Install the manual lumbar handle and trim ring, if equipped.
  10. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
