Removal Procedure

  1. Loosen the 2 intake air duct clamps from the air cleaner assembly and the throttle body.
  2. Remove the PCV tube from the air cleaner intake duct.
  3. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.
  4. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  5. Remove intake air duct from the air cleaner assembly and the throttle body.
  6. Loosen the clamp on the MAF sensor and remove the intake air duct from the MAF sensor.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the intake air duct to the MAF sensor.

  2. Object Number: 69062  Size: SH
  3. Install the air cleaner intake duct to the throttle body and the air cleaner assembly.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the air cleaner intake duct and the MAF sensor clamps to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
  8. Install the PCV tube to the air cleaner intake duct.
