Roof Side Rail Lamp Replacement Coupe

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 313124  Size: SH
  1. Using a small flat-bladed tool carefully release the side rail lamp lens retaining tabs and remove the lens from the lamp assembly.
  2. Remove the bulb from the side rail lamp socket.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 313124  Size: SH
  1. Install the bulb to the side rail lamp socket.
  2. Align the side rail lamp lens to the side rail lamp assembly and press the lens into place to secure the retainers.

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the screws from the assist handle.

  2. Object Number: 639898  Size: SH
  3. Remove the side rail lamp/assist handle from the roof.

  4. Object Number: 639899  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the side rail lamp on the assist handle.

  6. Object Number: 639901  Size: SH
  7. Remove the socket from the lamp housing.

  8. Object Number: 639902  Size: SH
  9. Remove the bulb from the socket.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the bulb to the side rail lamp socket.

  2. Object Number: 639901  Size: SH
  3. Install the socket to the side rail lamp housing.

  4. Object Number: 639899  Size: SH
  5. Connect the electrical connector to the side rail lamp.

  6. Object Number: 639898  Size: SH
  7. Install the side rail lamp/assist handle to the roof.

  8. Object Number: 639895  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Install the screws to the assist handle.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).
