Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 370568  Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seat adjuster track covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  3. Position the front seat to the full forward and the full-up position.
  4. Remove the nut from the front seat belt bracket, on the door side of the seat.

  6. Remove the bolts from the rear of the seat adjuster.
  7. Disconnect the electrical body harness from the seat.
  8. Tilt the seat forward and slid it back to disengage the seat adjuster hooks holding the seat to the floor pan.
  9. Remove the front seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front seat in the vehicle.
  2. Engage the front seat hook attachments.
  3. Connect the electrical body harness to the seat.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the bolts to the rear of the seat adjuster.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat adjuster bolts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  7. Install the front seat adjuster track covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .

  8. Object Number: 370568  Size: SH
  9. Install the nut to the front seat belt bracket.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  11. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  12. Inspect the front seat for proper operation.
