Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 313158 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Reach behind the IP compartment support panel and depress the retaining tabs on the IP compartment lamp switch to release.
  3. Press the lamp switch through the switch opening toward the rear of the vehicle.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the IP compartment lamp switch.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 313158 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the IP compartment lamp switch.
  2. Align the lamp switch to the switch opening in the IP compartment support panel, then press the switch into place to secure the retaining tabs.
  3. Install the IP compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
