Number - VIN derivative (1) for 3100 LG8 and 3400 LA1 is stamped or
laser etched on the left side rear of the engine block. The Vehicle Identification
Number - VIN derivative is nine digits long and can be used to determine
if a vehicle contains the original engine.

| • | The third digit identifies the assembly plant. |
| • | The fourth through ninth digits are the last six digits of the
Vehicle Identification Number - VIN. |
