The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
TRAC OFF lamp on after PCM replacement for an unrelated concern. This condition is usually accompanied by DTC U1304 set in the EBCM. Many times multiple PCMs with same part number will be replaced with the same results.

Note: There have been a few cases where part number 12209624 was required for an early built 2003 Grand Prix with 3.8 V6 L36 (VIN K).
