When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.
An OnStar customer may state that when making an outbound call using the Personal Calling feature, they are not being heard by the other person. The call does complete normally however.
This can be verified by making both an inbound and outbound call to and from the vehicle. The inbound call will have no apparent concern handling the call.
The OnStar Blue key press also works fine with data and the adviser can hear clearly.
Replace VIU/VCIM for this condition.
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
