Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Lower for Pontiac Grand Prix 2004

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
2. Remove the lower engine mount strut bracket bolts.
3. Remove the lower engine mount bracket nut.
4. Remove the lower engine mount bracket.

1. Install the lower engine mount bracket to the exhaust manifold stud and the upper engine mount strut bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the lower engine mount strut bracket bolts and nut.

Tighten

•	Tighten the nut to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

•	Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

3. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
