Each of the following courses of action requires a setup or programming procedure before the body control module (BCM) can be put into normal service.
Body Control Module (BCM) Replacement
If the BCM is replaced, the following procedures must be performed in the subsequent order:
| • | BCM Reprogramming--Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration in Computer/Integrating Systems for replacement, setup, and programming. |
| • | Theft Learn--Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components in Theft Deterrent. |
Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) Replacement
If the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed:
| • | BCM Reprogramming--Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration in Computer/Integrating Systems for replacement, setup, and programming. |
| • | Theft Learn--Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components in Theft Deterrent. |
