This PI has been revised to include the additional symptom of start / stall. Please discard PIC3975.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Vehicle may exhibit intermittent driveability concerns including a start and then stall condition. The traction control system warning lamp, service stability system message, and/or service traction system message may be displayed. DTCs B1390, C0236, and/or C0240 may be current or history.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Check the torque of the bolt that fastens ground G115 to the lower front of the engine. If the bolt that retains G115 is loose then torque the bolt to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
