The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Poor reception XM™ signal blocked, with sunroof fully opened. Because the sunroof travels over the XM™ antenna at the rear of the roof, the signal may be blocked. This is a characteristic of this antenna and sunroof system. Review the vehicle owner's manual for further details.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Move the sunroof forward enough to allow the XM™ signal a direct line from the satellite/repeater to the antenna.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
