Theft Deterrent Exciter Module Replacement for Pontiac Grand Prix 2006

1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
2. Disengage the retainers (1,2) from the theft deterrent reader/exciter module.

Remove the theft deterrent module (3) from the lock cylinder housing.

1. Slide the theft deterrent module (3) onto the ignition lock cylinder housing. Verify that the retainers (1,2) are engaged.
2. Install the ignition switch lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
