If your vehicle has this feature, some audio controls can be adjusted at the
steering wheel. They include the following:
(Seek): Press the up or the down arrow to go
to the next or previous station and stay there.
The sound will mute while
seeking. The radio will only seek stations with a strong signal that are in the selected
band.
While a CD is playing, press the up or the down arrow to go to the next or previous
track.
While playing a CD in the six-disc CD changer, press the up or the down arrow
to go to the next or previous track. If more than one CD is loaded, press the up arrow
when on the last track of the CD to go to the first track on the next loaded CD.
While a CD is playing in the radio or the six-disc CD changer, press and hold
the up or the down arrow to fast forward or reverse through the current track. If
the end or the beginning of the track is reached, the system will go to the next or
previous track. Release either arrow to stop fast forwarding or reversing.
BAND: Press this button to switch between FM1, FM2, AM, or XM1
or XM2 (if equipped).
1 - 6: Press this button to play stations that are programmed
on the radio preset screen buttons. The radio will only seek preset stations with
a strong signal that are in the selected band.
When more than one CD is
loaded in the six-disc CD changer, press this button to go to the next loaded CD.
(Mute/OnStar®): Press and release
this button to silence the audio system. Press it again, or the
(volume),
BAND, or
(play) button to turn the sound on.
If your vehicle is equipped with OnStar, press and hold this button to interact
with the OnStar system. See "OnStar® System" in the Index of your
vehicle's owner manual for more information.
(Play): While listening to the
radio, press this button to play a CD in the navigation system or six-disc CD changer.
(Volume): Press the up or down arrow to increase or decrease the
volume. This will have not change the voice guidance volume level. See "Guidance
Volume" under
Navigation Set Up
for information on changing voice
guidance volume.
