Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 859297  Size: SH
  1. Remove the cargo net.
  2. Remove the panel screws.

  3. Object Number: 859239  Size: SH
  4. Pull the panel bottom out to disengage the locator tab (1).

  5. Object Number: 859293  Size: SH
  6. Slide the panel up to disengage the retainer clip.
  7. Remove the cable guides from the handle back.

  8. Object Number: 859252  Size: SH
  9. Lift the handle and remove the cable anchors.
  10. Remove the handle and trim panel from the seat.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 859252  Size: SH
  1. Position the handle on the panel and install the cable anchors.

  2. Object Number: 859293  Size: SH
  3. Install the cable guides and the handle.
  4. Engage the retainer at the top of the panel.

  5. Object Number: 859239  Size: SH
  6. Engage the locator tab (1) in the seat back.

  7. Object Number: 859297  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the screws that secures the seat back trim panel.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  10. Install the cargo net.
