Removal Procedure
- Raise the head restraint to the full-up position.
- If the guide has a button, press in to release the lock tabs.
- If the guide assembly has a hole, insert a small rounded tool such as an allen wrench (2) into the hole in order to release the lock tabs.
- Remove the head restraint from the seat back (3).
Installation Procedure
- With the notches facing the front, push the support rods fully into the head restraint.
- Install the head restraint (1) into the seat back (3).
- Push the head restraint to the full-down position.
- Raise the head restraint in order to ensure that the restraint stops at the detent.
- Return the head restraint to the original position.
